Out of the darkness of chaos, at the dawning of the world, three Gods preside over the creation process. Kane, chief of all Gods in Hawaii, is assisted by Lono and Ku to create the abundant land of Hawaii, the surrounding seas, and the plants, animals, and humans upon the land. As the rivers flow for the first time, and the land comes to life, and set to a backdrop of exploding volcanoes and the fires of the formation of the earth, Kumu-honua - the first man - is brought into being. Within him the breath and spirit of Kane, Lono, and Ku unites to give him life.
